In 2021 Ali was commissioned by Pirate Purl Yarns, the local hand-dyed yarn business, to create a series of branded dishes that were then sold to customers as part of an online event. To create these Treasure Dishes, Ali impressed a rubber stamp featuring their logo into the clay and formed each piece. Using a pre-selected colour palette that coordinated with Pirate Purl’s most recent collection, Ali hand-painted glaze onto every dish before the final kiln firing.
